Symptome des Eisenmangels

Lange bevor es zu einer Eisenmangelanämie kommt, kann sich Eisenmangel mit verschiedenen unspezifischen Symptomen wie Müdigkeit, reduzierte Wahrnehmung, Kältetoleranz und körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit bemerkbar machen.22

Da die klinischen Symptome unspezifisch sind, erfordert die Differentialdiagnose die Klärung aller möglichen Ursachen, einschließlich Schilddrüsenunterfunktion, Nierenversagen, Diabetes mellitus, Hyperparathyreoidismus, chronische Infektion, neurologische Störungen wie Multiple Sklerose oder Depression und Eisenmangelanämie oder Eisenmangel.24
